So, unless you were living under a rock, you should know by now that Showtime premiered a new series based around Stephen Colbert's Cartoon Donald Trump.  As someone who as a kid, would stay up past my bedtime to watch the Late Night Show, I got to say that Stephen Colbert is a splendid comedian (Plus I saw the Colbert Report on Comedy Central when I was a child).  Still, Cartoon Donald Trump is a welcome addition to the late night show, as well as Showtime.

Though it does have a liberal bent to it, Our Cartoon President is bitingly funny, as it's able to lampoon every member of the Trump administration with equal verve and humor.  I especially like the portrayal of Maddog Mattis as well as Jeff Sessions as the goofy yet kind of culturally deaf Attorney General.

Still, the most funny lampooning has got to be Trump's two sons, Eric and Don Jr.  Don Jr. especially fits the niche of a responsible big brother to Eric, who is portrayed as the not-so-bright second born son in the family.   Though both of them radiate a tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum persona, both of them are very lovable and provide comic relief for the show that illuminates the dark times that America is experiencing.

Overall, the series is bitingly funny and I think that it has a bright future ahead of it.

Finally a republican who has a sense of humor, lmao
presidents have always been mocked and parodied, and it seems the people who get butthurt over stuff like SNL trump skits are the same people who loved obama-parodied SNL skits :o
